Financial Paraplanner
Location: Mpls-St. Paul Metro Area (Preference for South of the River) | Employment Type: Full-Time | In-Office with Potential Hybrid Flexibility
Are you a detail-oriented financial professional who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment? We’re looking for a Financial Paraplanner to join our team! As a Financial Paraplanner, you will work closely with the lead advisor and team to provide essential support in financial planning, client service, and marketing efforts. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing comprehensive financial plans and client reports
- Conducting research on financial products, investments, and retirement strategies
- Managing client records and workflows within our CRM system
- Collaborating with advisors to ensure seamless client experiences
- Supporting marketing and branding efforts, including email campaigns, direct mail, and short video content
- Assisting with client communications and administrative tasks
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (includes breaks and lunch options)
- Location: In-office required; potential for 1-2 remote days/week in the future (earned privilege)
- Dress Code: Workplace casual; business casual+ for client meetings
- Supervision & Mentorship: Reports directly to the firm owner, a seasoned advisor with 28 years of experience
- Career Growth: Position will evolve into client-facing responsibilities over time

- Holistiplan (Tax analysis and planning)
- Horsesmouth – Savvy Social Security (Social Security planning insights)
- Income Lab (Retirement income planning)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Microsoft Teams (Collaboration and communication)
- My Rep Chat (Texting solution for client communication)
- Practifi (CRM for managing client relationships)
- Pulse 360 (Streamlining client meeting notes and workflows)
- Riskalyze (Nitrogen) (Risk assessment and portfolio analysis)
- Zoom (Virtual meetings and client interactions)
- Asset-Map (Visual financial planning tool)
- Calendly (Scheduling and appointment management)
- Schwab Custodian (Custodial platform for managing accounts)
- Docupace (Document management and workflow automation)
- eMoney (Comprehensive financial planning software)
- Must be willing to obtain securities licenses (Series 7 / 63 / 66) within 90-120 days of hire
- Preference given to candidates who already hold these licenses
- Financial planning certifications (CFP®, ChFC®, or similar) are a plus

- Salary range is $ 55,000 - $ 80,000 depending on experience and certifications
