Splash Day 2014 @ Southwind Village Apartments By the Pool

Southwind Village Apartments will host our annual fundraiser - Splash Day @ Southwind Village Apartments By the Pool.  This festive celebration is supported by our residents and associates from VillageGreen's apartment communities who enthusiastically collect pledges to take a plunge into our chilly pools for a local charity's benefit.

This year, Village Green's Splash Day is raising funds for The Ronald McDonald House.

Village Green's Splash Day first began 23 years ago with a dare.  Because we traditionally open our apartment community pools in April, often before swimming-friendly weather, a manager accepted a dare to take the plunge, but only on the condition that donations would be made to a worthy cause.

Since that time, the event has grown each year.  Our past Splash Day celebrations across the Midwest have generated significant contributions to various charities - up to $20,000 in each region.  This year we are setting out to do the same and, once again, make a bigger splash than the year before.  Our goal is to raise $6,000 for The Ronald McDonald House and we hope you will join our team in giving back to these families.

It will be an evening of fun, food & fundraising!
