2024 Burnsville/Savage Partnership

The Burnsville Chamber is excited to embark on a new journey with the Savage Chamber and we invite you to join us to help build stronger business communities!

What is happening?
Through much consideration and numerous conversations, the Savage Board of Directors has decided to streamline Chamber operations through a partnership with the Burnsville Chamber. This is an operational merger only; Burnsville Chamber staff will manage behind the scenes operations and provide support to the Savage Advisory Board to ensure quality programs, services and communications for Savage Chamber members. The Savage and Burnsville Chambers will continue to maintain independent identities to meet the needs of each community.

Why did the Savage Chamber choose to partner with Burnsville?
Savage Chamber Board members and staff tried numerous strategies in 2023 to regain the strength and stability the Chamber enjoyed pre-pandemic. In January 2024 the Savage Board decided to look for a partner that could help their goals. As a neighboring community with many similar goals and objectives, and a long history of working together on programs and events, the Burnsville Chamber stood out as a trusted partner to help streamline operations and enhance ability to serve our respective business communities effectively.

What does this mean for me as a Burnsville Chamber Member?
Be assured, we remain dedicated to our Members, and will continue to serve, represent and care for our Burnsville businesses! We will maintain an independent identity, membership options, programs and services that meet the needs of Burnsville businesses and the community.

Does my Burnsville Chamber membership also include a Savage Chamber membership?
​To preserve the unique identities and local resources of both chambers, memberships will remain separate. Of course, you are welcome to attend Savage programs through non-member registrations. Or you can sign up as a Savage Chamber member to take advantage of additional member benefits and member rates for their programs and events.

Will you host joint Savage/Burnsville Chamber events?
As we have for many years, we will continue to partner on a few events per year, like State of the Schools and the Progressive Networking Lunch. Our hope is to offer one or two more combined events in 2025 to leverage our resources and foster relationships between our business communities. We will share information on this as soon as possible.
