Annette Margarit joined the firm in 1989, practicing in employment and municipal law. In 1996, she became Human Resources Manager for the City of Apple Valley, a position she held until 2001. Annette also practiced with Frank Madden and Associates in public labor law for 1.5 years then returned to Dougherty Molenda as the firm?s employment law specialist. Annette has counseled employers on a wide variety of employee issues, prepared employment policies, and defended allegations brought by employees. Annette has frequently been hired by cities to conduct employment investigations. In 2003 Annette became the lead attorney for the City of Jordan and a shareholder with the firm in 2004. Annette retired from the firm in August 2019, but has been back since May 2020 to assist with the significant volume of employment issues, including unemployment compensation.
Arthur J. Waldon is an attorney who assists clients with a wide variety of legal disputes and issues through his litigation practice. Arthur graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Business Administration. He attended law school at the University of St. Thomas School of Law where he was a Senior Editor for the University of St. Thomas Law Journal. During law school Arthur was also actively involved in trial advocacy competitions that would prepare him to hit the ground running when he entered the practice of law. After law school, Arthur worked as a litigation attorney in a small firm where he served as second chair in a number of jury trials, both in state and federal court. Arthur has also argued a number of cases to the Minnesota Court of Appeals, and appeals continue to be a focus in his practice.
