Pianist Lorie Line is returning to the road once again, performing 40 shows this holiday season including three concerts at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center. This year's concert, "Immanuel" promises to be a "heavenly show," with her personal concert grand piano once again taking center stage.
Line says her holiday extravaganza is always new and different each year and that's what "makes my fans come back each holiday season. They love the musical arrangements, the variety, the spectacular costumes and the overall Christmas message."
This year's theme carol "O Come, O Come, Immanuel" will set the tone of the night. She will also be featuring music from the Orient, French counterpoint and classic pieces from The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky. Fans should plan to bring their bells as they will once again be invited to ring along.
Classically trained since the age of 5, Line has been touring for 23 years. Her unique grass roots story has been featured in hundreds of magazines and news publications across the country. She has hosted three PBS specials and sold 6 million albums. Known for her compositions and unique arrangements, Line has published 38 books of music which are now distributed all over the world.
This year Line will travel with her Fab Five, which includes national award-winning drummer (21-year old) Jean-Pierre Bouvet, also America's Got Talent bassist Josh Fink, Chase Hardin on guitar, Derek Bromme on trombone, and newcomer 18-year old Clair Elrod on the violin.
Her family show is two hours long and is appropriate for children ages four and up.
