Animalia! A Concert by the Dakota Valley Symphony

The 2023-2024 Dakota Valley Symphony season kicks off with opportunities for families with young children to introduce their little ones to the performing arts in a children-friendly atmosphere. This month the DVS is excited to welcome back Jake Endres to narrate another family-oriented concert. Join us for an afternoon of interactive children’s activities and music:

• 1:00 - 1:45 p.m. – Exhibits from MN Zoo Zoomobile (live animals will NOT be present)
• 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. – Musical Program (bring your favorite stuffed animal for the Teddy Bear's Picnic parade!)
• Following the concert – “Meet the Instruments”

Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov: Czar Sultan: Flight of the Bumble Bee
Leroy Anderson: Old MacDonald’s Farm
Jerry Hermann: Teddy Bear’s Picnic (with parade of stuffed animals)
 
Tickets are $15 per adult. Each adult can bring up to 4 children with them at no additional cost. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
