2024 State of the Schools

Hosted by the Burnsville and Savage Chambers of Commerce in partnership with District 191, community members, parents, students, educators, and business leaders are invited to the annual State of the Schools address. This event will provide an overview of the district's progress and strategic initiatives, with a focus on:

• Recent survey results conducted among District 191 students, parents, and staff members offering insights into the community's perspectives on the educational environment, areas for improvement, and overall satisfaction of the schools.
• An overview of this Fall's technology levy referendum and how the funds will be allocated to improve educational outcomes.
• Stories from our students sharing their experiences with the district's Pathways approach to education.
• Partnerships with local businesses through the Business Education Network providing hands-on experiences and connections that enhance career readiness.

Afterwards take a moment to personally chat with Dr. T (Theresa Battle) over a cup of tea and get to know our superintendent.






About the Business Education Network
The Burnsville Business Education Network (BEN) was developed in December 2017 to connect employers with education to help students become future ready and community strong.
