2024 Burnsville & Savage Chambers Fall Fling Sporting Clay Challenge

Shoot 50 sporting clays total, spread out among twelve presentation (shooting) stations, and finish with happy hour, dinner and awards.

No experience necessary!
MN Horse and Hunt Club staff can give you a brief lesson prior to the event. This is a stress-free environment for those that have been wanting to try clay shooting, but never had the chance.

Event Timeline
2:00 pm: New shooter orientation
2:30 pm: Check-in opens including shotgun rentals and ammo purchase
3:00 pm: Safety briefing
3:30 pm: Shooting begins
5:00 pm: Happy hour, dinner, and awards

FAQs

Can I participate if I haven't shot before?
Yes! We welcome new/beginner shooters. This is a great and fun environment to learn about and try sporting clay shooting. MN Horse & Hunt Club (MNHH) can also give you a brief lesson before the event starts. Please note in your registration if you would like a lesson. Lessons start around 2:00 PM. Allow extra time to get your shotgun and ammo if needed.

What if I don't own a shotgun?
Guns are available to rent the day of event at the MN Horse & Hunt Club. Rentals are $20 for the day. Allow extra time to get shotgun rental before event start (3:30 PM).

Does everyone on my team need a shotgun?
Ideally, yes. However, if you'd like to share, we suggest 2 guns per team. This helps with the pace of play. Please note in your registration if you will be renting a gun. This helps MNHH prepare for the event.

What type of gun and ammo do I need/rent?
We suggest a smaller shotgun (20 gauge) using birdshot ammo. You will need at least 2 boxes (25 shells each) of ammo.

Do I need to buy ammo or is that supplied?
Yes, you do need to buy ammo. While you can buy at MNHH on event day, we suggest purchasing ahead of time. Due to supply chain issues, we cannot guarantee that MNHH will have enough ammo. Modern Sportsman in Burnsville is a good place to purchase.

Registration includes 50 clays, Lucky Shooter Package*, dinner and awards. Gun rentals and shells available for purchase on event day at MN Horse & Hunt.

Single shooter: Member $125
Team of 5: Members $625

*Lucky Shooter Package includes field games for prizes, 1 raffle ticket, bottled water, swag bag.

Is your shot a little rusty? No worries, there are other ways to participate! Register for an on or off course sponsorship.

Platinum	$2,000 ($2,500 Non-Members)	Includes up to 10 shooters (2 teams), clays, dinner, presentation station signage, opportunity to hand out swag, logo on event website, recognition on FB event.
Gold	$1,250 ($1,750 Non-Members)	Includes up to 5 shooters (1 team), clays, dinner, presentation station signage, opportunity to hand out swag, logo on event website, recognition on FB event.
Silver	$950 ($1,450 Non-Members)	Includes 2 shooters, clays, dinner, presentation station signage, opportunity to hand out swag, logo on event website, recognition on FB event.
Bronze	$650 ($1,050 Non-Members)	Includes 1 shooter, clays, dinner, presentation station signage, opportunity to hand out swag, logo on event website, recognition on FB event.
Station	$300 ($550 Non-Members)	Includes presentation station signage, opportunity to hand out swag, logo on event website.
Keg	$500 ($650 Non-Members)	Includes signage and recognition during happy hour, logo on event website, and keg.
SOLD: Water	$200 ($350 Non-Members)	Includes signage at check in and logo on event website. Sponsors provides 4 cases of water.
Lucky Shooter Bag	$200 ($350 Non-Members)	Includes logo on event website and recognition at happy hour. Sponsors provides 75 bags for swag.
