Joe Schindler is Vice President of Finance at the Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA) where he has worked for over 30 years. MHA represents virtually all hospitals and health systems in the state of Minnesota and works on their behalf to ensure fair and balanced health policies. Joe staff’s MHA’s Finance committee and Small, Rural committee. His duties include Medicare and Medicaid policy analysis, payment reform and advocacy. He produces financial analysis for hospital benchmarking, maintains relationships with key stakeholders including state department service agencies and oversees work of MHA’s finance and information services staff. His professional involvement includes the board of directors of the Minnesota chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Mr. Schindler has a business administration degree from the University of St. Thomas
