Banking Basics for Business Owners

Jack Livingston and Bailee Petska from Royal Credit Union will be discussing all things business banking. ​In this presentation they will discuss the business banking basics of opening your accounts and what you need to know about business loans and business credit. With over ten years of experience in financial services, Jack is here to help with all your business banking needs. Jack received his Bachelor’s of Finance degree from Minnesota State University and his MBA in Accounting from University of Southern Indiana. As part of Royal’s Business Lending team since 2022, Jack enjoys working with small business members in a variety of industries. He is especially passionate about empowering entrepreneurs to succeed financially. Outside of work, Jack is a member of the Minnesota Credit Union Network CREW program for young professionals. He enjoys connecting with business owners through his role as an ambassador for the Twin Cities North Chamber and throughout the community by becoming involved with City of Little Canada events and 1 Million Cups. Jack is a volunteer leader at Eagle Brook Church and serves as the Twin Cities lead for Royal’s Young Professional program. Jack was selected to participate in the 2023 cohort of the Northeast Metro Young Professionals through the Vadnais Heights Economic Development Corporation.

Bailee Petska has held many roles within Royal Credit Union since 2019 including roles where she has supported business owners with their deposit banking needs. Her most recent role with Royal is working as a Member Experience Ambassador. In this role Bailee oversees the training and onboarding of new retail banking associates in our Twin Cities region and ensures team members at all levels are living out Royal’s core values in each interaction they have. Bailee is passionate about empowering Royal’s business members and our teammates to succeed in reaching their next goals. Bailee has been involved in Royal’s recent growth in Minnesota which more than doubled our presence in Minnesota in just the last two years.
