David has been in law enforcement for 22 years and is a retired volunteer firefighter that served for 20 years in the community in which he lives.  His current assignment is the City of Burnsville's Emergency Management Coordinator. During his law enforcement career\, David has served in patrol\, crisis negotiations\, field training officer\, crime scene team\, mobile command post\, driving instructor and the crisis intervention team member.
