DESCRIPTION:AM Coffee Break / MN Manufacturing Week Celebration\n\n\n\nXcel Energy's Black Dog Plant is our destination for October.  Join us to learn about this great community asset and celebrate Manufacturing Week.  Please join us and don't miss out on the fantastic tour.  Tours may extend past 9:00AM.\n\n\n\nThe only access to the Black Dog Plant is from I-35W and Black Dog Road.  Go east on Black Dog Road\; our security gate will be open.  Drive approximately 3 miles to reach the plant.  Please be very careful near the 3 bike path crossings on Black Dog Road.  Once you arrive at the plant\, an employee will direct you where to park\, and will direct you to the main door for entry.  For the tour\, please wear closed toe shoes\, steel toe preferably.
